Explore the Multi-Dimensional World of PNAU with the Colourful & Vibrant 'Lucky' Video

Following on from the release of their new single ‘Lucky’, today Australian trio PNAU unveil the colourful and vibrant ‘Lucky’ video, starring Alister Wright from Vlossom whose ethereal vocals feature on the track. Continuing the explosion of psychedelic colour and movement that PNAU videos are renowned for, the video is a collaborative project between the band and a team of likeminded creatives including Director Imogen Grist and Creative Director Damian Dunne from Milked Studios in Melbourne, Australia.
Like most PNAU videos, the initial vision originated from the fantastical mind of Nick Littlemore, “This clip has been a labour of love,” explains Nick. “It started its journey in the markets of Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam last year where my wife and I came across the most amazing looking artificial flowers. They took me straight back to tripping and going mad...wonderful. Anyway, we got a few large carry bags and filled them all up and from there I took a flight to Byron Bay where a fabulous fashion designer, Clarisse Odum, turned them into amazing wearable items. All this was done long before we had the brilliant director Imogen Grist on board, and the effects master Damian Dunne. And not forgetting the major inspiration of the art of UON visuals, with whom we collaborated to make this multidimensional world to explore. Like most of our songs, ‘Lucky’ is about finding the strength and the light in hard times to be a more loving and happy entity."
PNAU is the multi-platinum-selling, ARIA award-winning electronic act of Nick Littlemore (Empire of the Sun), Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore, famed for their extensive career born out of the underground clubs and festival dancefloors of Australia. With a catalogue of hits and multiple albums behind them, PNAU have enjoyed a powerful renaissance over the past few years, with multi-platinum hits ‘Go Bang’ and ‘Chameleon’ featuring Kira Divine becoming inescapable on the airwaves in their home country of Australia and climbing the Billboard Dance charts in the US. 2019 singles ‘Solid Gold’ featuring Kira Divine and Marques Toliver and ‘All Of Us’ featuring Ollie Gabriel, embedded PNAU as the most cutting edge electronic act to watch on a global scale, finding a loyal fan base amongst the most influential decision makers at BBC Radio 1, triple j and streaming services across the globe.
‘Lucky’ brings two of Nick Littlemore’s myriad of creative ventures together in harmony, with Vlossom the newly-launched super-duo of Littlemore and Cloud Control’s Alister Wright. Having offered the first glimpse into Vlossom’s world-bending with their debut single ‘Catch Your Breath’ in late 2019, Vlossom recently released their debut EP, My Friend and lead single ‘Missing You’ to great acclaim, with NME Australia saying “its six ecstatic, trance-indebted tunes have enough good vibes to breathe warmth and life into these stay-at-home days.”
PNAU continue to push boundaries with their sound and take their fans on a journey with their diverse and colourful productions. Step into their world of emotional ecstasy with ‘Lucky’.
