Fresh off her joyous triple j Like A Version covering OMC’s ‘How Bizarre’, ARIA-nominated electronic producer Alice Ivy is the latest act to take on remix duties for PNAU’s latest single ‘River’ featuring Ladyhawke. A long-time fan of PNAU, Alice was thrilled to be tapped for remix duties for Australian dance music royalty.

"I was so stoked when PNAU reached out for me to remix River featuring. Ladyhawke,” explains Alice. “PNAU are music royalty; I’ve been such a massive fan for so many years, so this was a real bucket-list moment for me. I hope I was able to do the song justice!"

Alice Ivy’s eclectic signature sound spans sample-influenced soul, hip-hop, dance and electronic pop that she brings to life live as a multi-instrumentalist. With 35 million career streams, eight consecutive singles on high rotation at taste-making Australian radio station triple j and a reputation for explosive live performances Alice Ivy is fast becoming recognised as one of Australia’s most versatile and exhilarating artists.

The Alice Ivy rework is the penultimate ‘River’ remix, joining a package featuring Tobiahs and Jack Burton, with a final remix from Melbourne’s Airwolf set to drop on May 5th.

An homage to PNAU’s roots in the rave and progressive scenes of the late ‘90s and 2000s, ‘River’ delivers a nostalgic edge with the contemporary finish PNAU have masterfully crafted over the years. The track explores themes of renewal and rebirth, with a bassline getting us ready to dance our way through 2021. PNAU have a long history with Ladyhawke as she featured on their seminal track ‘Embrace’, to this day a fan favourite and eternal festival anthem, and also collaborated with Nick Littlemore on their Teenager project.
