Kilter shares new single 'They Don't Know Us'

Ahead of European summer festival appearances at the likes of TheSoundYouNeed in Malta, and Ephemere in Tunisia, as well as a national tour in September, 24-year-old Sydney musician, producer, writer and drummer, Kilter today reveals his new single, “They Don’t Know Us” as premiered via Nest HQ. Out Friday August 12 on etcetc, the track has all the upbeat, polished markings of a Kilter classic.

"They Don’t Know Us" is the first single from Kilter’s forthcoming debut album and a bright slice of things to come in early 2017. Kilter reflects, “I had a strong idea around how I wanted the album to sound and themes I wanted to explore. I ended up working with a lot of exciting writers and musicians to make it the best experience it possibly could be.” Co-written with Cam Nacsom of MOZA, and mixed by the finest ears in the country Andrei Eremin, "They Don’t Know Us" is a youthful anthem speaking of carefree confidence and following your soul.
 
Following up his mixmag-certified ‘summer festival anthem’“Fool For You” hit Top 20 in the US Electronic chart, and has amassed over 2 million Spotify plays to date, securing the valuable nod from YouTube tastemaker Majestic Casual.
 
Since exploding onto the scene a few years ago, Kilter has been at the forefront of the new wave of Australian electronic artists, extensively touring the country, playing all major festivals and wooing crowds with his infectious live show. Bringing along Sydney outfit Polographia for the ride, Kilter will be playing at Sydney’s Manning Bar, through to Wollongong for Yours & Owls festival on October 1 – prepare to witness the accomplished producer in his element. Kitted with drums and synth-gear galore – Kilter zooms between keys, sample pads and drumstick duties – bringing his productions to a new dimension.
