etcetc are stoked to have been awarded Indie Label of the Year at the inaugural The Music Network Tinnies Awards, held at the Kings Cross Hotel on Friday.

The #TMNTinnies were created in 2017, to celebrate the success of people crushing it in Australia's music industry. A big congratulations goes to the head of etcetc Aden, who was also nominated for Label A&R of the Year.

Aden says, "It was record year for the label which was really the sum of its parts. From our passionate and dedicated team at etcetc, to a talented roster hitting their straps and the local media, agencies, radio, digital partners who’ve got around what we’re doing and supported the growth. On behalf of etcetc, we’d like to thank you all.

We have a great self-sustaining domestic industry, and our next target should be having globally successful artists. These awards are a great opportunity for us to rally around our counties big win and elevate them globally for the greater benefit of our artists and industry. The world should absolutely expect big things from Australia in 2018 and beyond."

TMN says “etcetc show signs of going from strength to strength in the next 12 months, with 2018 already off to a great start for the label." The Indie Label of the Year win comes after picking up a special mention in The Music Network's 2017 year-end Singles Report, with TMN Charts Editor Peter Tuskan writing: "etcetc experienced a strong year seeing the label take just under 5% of the Hot 40 market share, and 3% of the Hot 100".

On Aden’s nomination for Label A&R of the Year, TMN said “representing the recordings of electronic career artists such as Kilter and Luke Million, as well the likes of Duke Dumont and Jax Jones, meant that the last 12 months have been incredibly busy for Aden Mullens. While the label stand-out has been PNAU and the release of their fifth studio album Changa, the label also enjoyed notable success in August, when Gold Coast producer Paces was signed to US label Republic.”
