Hitting UK and Europe on his first overseas tour, JNTHN STEIN’s set  at The Great Escape Festival was well-attended by music industry A&R’s, booking agents and journalists alike. Proof of the exciting and promising direction from the Brooklyn native. 

JNTHN STEIN drops his latest single ‘Master Control’, featuring North London rapper and past collaborator, BXRBER. The irresistibly funky and soulful track recievd a premiere with CLASH Magazine ‘Master Control’ is the third and last addition to his ‘Everything is a Drug’ EP. From the off, ‘Master Control’ is an animated, funk-fuelled departure from the other tracks on the EP. With a Nile Rodgers-esque guitar lick, a gritty P-Funk synth line, soulful vocal and STEIN’s unmistakable drums. ‘Master Control’ has enough edge to ring true to STEIN’s legacy as a Team Supreme founder while heralds an exciting vision for the future of this rising artist. The deep, steady kick-drum beat adds to the groove and readies the listener for BXRBER’s seamless and suave, jazzy vocals. 

Since the release of his 'Changes' EP in early 2017, notable support has rained in from the likes of Hypebeast, Complex, C-Heads, leveling up to 'Master Control' 14 July 2017. JNTHN tells Clash: "Me and BXRBER made this one on a hot sweaty day in my garage. Now this whip is supercharged and thirsty for sunny skies, curvy turns and open miles. We like slow tempos and driving fast, with the top down and no seatbelts.
