Alexa Leary

Inspiring, tenacious, powerful. Alexa Leary’s dominance is well documented. World records, and gold medals.

Her enthusiasm for music is equally renowned and runs especially deep. Music was a cornerstone to Lex’s Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) recovery. It helped Lex regain speech, memory, and movement. The combination of music, growth, and a positive mindset has inspired Lex to keep growing and to keep dancing. Dancing with family, therapists, athletes, personalities, even on top of the Paralympic podium.

“Music has been a huge part of my recovery and it forever will be. It’s my soundtrack to happiness and keeps me pushing on.”

Exploring her unwavering enthusiasm for music, Lex found support in her local community to originate the music she hears in her head. Breaking through the superficial barriers of so-called ability. “I have a lot of ideas in my head about music. So when I’m not training, I’ve been creating music with the support crew and our positivity”

Inspired by a local producer, now global megastar FISHER, Lex found her sound in club beats with fun vocals and a bit of attitude. They are crowd-pleasers and floor-fillers. The kind of music which elevates you. makes you stand taller. Makes you move. Lex’s passion and focus is unrelenting and if there’s any chance of someone creating a performance-enhancing music anthem – Lex has the power.

“I’m living my 2nd life full of opportunity, not letting my disability limit me”
