Gold Coast producer Paces today drops the next tasty morsel from his upcoming second album with his new single ‘Don’t Run’ featuring Doolie. Doolie is an emerging vocalist from Queensland whose track ‘KØLD’ has been getting rave reviews on triple j Unearthed.

Paces, aka Mikey Perry, reveals how the collab came together: “Doolie is one of my favourite new artists - she’s such a goofball but as soon as she steps up to a mic it’s like WOW ok, she’s not here to play games! I’m so stoked that we were able to link up on this track because (a) she sounds great on it! and (b) because it’s the first time I’ve ever featured a fellow Gold Coaster on one of my songs! We’re flying the flag!!"

‘Don’t Run’ will be the fourth single lifted from Paces’ forthcoming album - due for release in August 2018 - following on from his huge 2017 single ‘Savage’ featuring NYNE which has now amassed over 10 million combined streams, and subsequent singles ‘Creepin’ and ‘Going Mad’ featuring rising Australian talent CLYPSO and US rapper Raven Felix

Paces also recently remixed LDRU’s hit ‘Keeping Score’ following his hugely popular Like A Version with Guy Sebastian, which has had almost 2 million views on YouTube and was one of the most talked about Like A Versions of all time.

Having signed to Republic Records out of New York (home to A-List artists like The Weeknd, Drake and Lorde) and having just wrapped a huge 13-date national tour including playing St Kilda Festival, Mountain Sounds and headlining Secret Garden Festival, Paces will soon head to the US to undertake his debut North American tour including playing Lightning In A Bottle festival in California alongside the likes of Anderson .Paak, Zhu and Sofi Tukker.
