Adelaide producer Luke Million unveils ‘Alive’ featuring up and coming Melbourne vocalist Fluir, lifted from his 2017 EP ‘Come Together’. With a laid-back groove somewhere between Kaytranada, Flight Facilities and Chromeo, ‘Alive’ showcases Luke’s famous synth skills with a funky bassline and sunny vocal.

Luke says ‘We can get so caught up with the daily grind that we miss out on just being in the moment. Alive is about letting go of anything that might be holding you back and letting whatever may happen, just happen. Fluir is an amazing talent and we had an immediate chemistry in the studio that I’m sure will result in more collaborations in the future. For the music soundscape I featured two of my very first acquisitions - The Rhodes Electric Piano and the Roland SH2 Synthesizer. There was also a splash of Hohner Clavinet D6, Oberheim OB8 and Roland Juno 6.’

Joining the package is Brooklyn producer Sammy Bananas (Fool’s Gold) with a funky sunset rework, house legend James Curd (Defected) taking the original straight to the dance floor and new kids on the block, Brisbane duo Slow Poke bringing atmospheric vibes.

2017 saw Luke set off on his Come Together EP tour which saw guest appearances by Touch Sensitive, Fluir and Last Dinosaurs, with KLP and Sam Sparro joining him for a spectacular performance at Splendour In The Grass. Luke is currently on tour with Hot Dub Time Machine, Sneaky Sound System, The Kite String Tangle and Touch Sensitive for the national Wine Machine tour.
