Sydney producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Klue today releases his new single ‘Find Your Way’, the first taste of his forthcoming EP.

Klue has tapped a neo-soul edge with ‘Find Your Way’ and throws light on what we can expect from his next EP later this year. ‘Find Your Way’ follows Klue’s 2017 single ‘Lifted’ which hit #1 on the World Music chart on iTunes, as well as his debut EP ‘Daybreak’ which has amassed over 1 million Spotify streams.

On the new direction for the single, Klue says “Find Your Way started as a riff I played on the Mbira I picked up on tour in Zimbabwe. I've been stripping back my production and focusing in on the soul but also the dark, which has become a strong theme for the EP I’ve been working on for later in the year”.

Kick starting 2018, Klue has already supported the legendary Thievery Corporation on their national tour and found support from galaxies far, far away with Star War’s own John Boyega asking to meet Klue when he visited Sydney in March this year. His tune ‘So Good’ was picked up by fellow etcetc artist Jax Jones for his BBC Radio 1 artist residency, and Klue’s FBi show ‘Bare Necessities’ moved up to FM programming from its original home, digital station FBi Click.

On the story behind ‘Find Your Way’, Klue explains “I started writing this song when we were partying after a set at a festival and ran into someone who had lost all their friends. We took them with us on our adventures and I started singing whatever came to mind as we walked, and that turned into the hook. Eventually we found their crew and got them back on the road. That moment inspired the track, but really it's just about being there for someone; a song for my friends.”

2017 saw Klue play headline shows and festivals across the country with his amazing live show seeing him on vocals, saxophone, SPD sample pads and turntables. He also debuted his full live band shows, with Joe Diamond on trumpet, Kid Fiction on keys and Julian Bel-Bachir from OKA on kora and djembe.

Having been tipped as a ‘One To Watch’ by tastemakers including Hermitudeinthemix and Purple Sneakers and keeping busy remixing artists such as Paces and Polographia, as well as PNAU’s huge anthem ‘Chameleon’, Klue is one of the most exciting up-and-comers in Australian music right now. Catch Klue on tour around the country this April and May.
