After a solid debut year for the project, James Curd & Johnny Castro join forces as Chez Moon once again to drop their latest summer house tune ‘Close To Me’.

After a string of club releases on Lee Foss’ label Repopulate Mars, Jupiter Clique and Armada, Chez Moon return to etcetc after the success of their track ‘Away’, which was picked up by HBO Series ‘Ballers’ and received support from triple j, Pat Lok, Sam Devine, Tommy Trash & Lee Foss amongst others.

‘Close To Me’ is a sparkling house jam, telling the story of young love from a dark night to the dancefloor and beyond. With dreamy layers of bass, keys, vocals and arpeggios, 'Close To Me' is set to soundtrack many balmy summer nights to come.

Individually, James Curd continues to be one of the most exciting names in house music, with 2017 releases on Jesse Rose’s label Play It Down as well as Repopulate Mars, Exploited and more, and is also widely recognised for his extensive work composing for TV and film. Johnny Castro is celebrated for his work as part of Parachute Youth and Yeah Boy, continuing to make his mark in Australian dance music.

Combining their individual talents to bring feel-good house music to listeners all over the globe, the pairing of Curd and Castro create danceable house music with next level heart, and an innate ability to write melodies that remain with you for hours after.

Joining the package are some of the most exciting up-and-coming names in house music right now, bringing their signature sounds to the gorgeous Original. Casual Connection brings a laid-back disco lounge vibe, Sydney trio The Nights deliver a late night rework, and Psalms takes us straight to the dancefloor with a thumping piano-house version.
