Following the release of his debut EP ‘Elevate’ at the beginning of 2018, Melbourne producer Airwolf takes a step towards nostalgia with ‘Chasing You’, a convincing future house anthem.
‘Chasing You’ is a slight departure for Airwolf, transitioning from bass-orientated instrumentation to an accomplished classic house angle with astounding conviction. A precursor to which could be found on the title track of his ‘Elevate’ EP, a looped up house jam with subtle refinement. ‘Chasing You’ expands out the piano riff, introduces a huge, huge, soul vocal and is nothing short of anthemic. Suited to summer in Ibiza to a road trip through rural Australia, ‘Chasing You’ is set to soundtrack to dancefloors and sunsets alike
Airwolf says, “The beat for ‘Chasing You’ was written while my friends and I were hanging out playing FIFA and because I kept losing I had some spare time, so I pulled out the laptop and made what is now known as ‘Chasing You’. Fun fact – previously the track was known as ‘Convertible’; I felt the song sounded like a couple cool cats driving with the top down. After a while of sitting on the beat, I knew it needed a really strong, epic voice to accompany the vibe and I got a couple demos in from singer/songwriters. I got sent a demo that blew me away from an Australian singer named Bonnie Anderson - her voice is incredible. I knew it was the perfect fit – her voice is so strong and powerful! I was so stoked I had a celebratory boogie in the studio.”
‘Chasing You’ follows a huge 2017 for Airwolf, headlining shows across Australia with a string of tracks supported by MK, Chris Lake, Idris Elba, MJ Cole, Claude VonStroke, Shadow Child, Anna Lunoe, Martin Garrix, Cassius and more. Having hit top 10 of the ARIA Club Chart, top 5 in the Canadian Spotify Viral Chart, and remixed UK hit-maker OFFAIAH alongside Riton and The Magician, 2018 is looking set to be the year Airwolf really takes flight.

The release of ‘Chasing You’ is the culmination of months of touring for Airwolf in support of his ‘Elevate’ EP, showcasing his production prowess headlining shows around Australia as well as supporting fellow etcetc artists Jax Jones and Duke Dumont.
