Moody alt-pop project Nectr, is a new Melbourne based duo from artists Charlz and Luboku.

Building upon a shared interest in artists such as the xx, Oh Wonder and Massive Attack. From opposite sides of Melbourne, Charlz and Luboku had oddly never met but connected quickly over a one-off writing session, which blossomed into a fully realised project.

Like a ‘drink of the gods’, Nectr combines Charlz and Luboku’s captivating vocals, wrapped up in the soft glow of downtempo electronica. Both established artists in their own right, Nectr displays a subtler, more delicate side of their musical universe. The duo’s first single, ‘Someone’ is out July 23 via Etcetc Music.
